PTSD : Do I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ? Find Out

Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a silent killer of our veterans. For various reasons both diagnosis and treatment are lacking and many of these veterans end up homeless and addicted to drugs and alcohol.

PTSDStatistics, covering the dead and wounded of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan only tell half the story. Many veterans are suffering in silence with mental health and addiction problems. Others are struggling to get the help they need from their government both in the U.S. and Canada.

Twelve years of war both in Iraq and Afghanistan have taken their toll. The Department of Defense in its latest casualty report shows that 2143 US soldiers have been killed, while 19,334 were wounded in action (WIA). The website iCasuaties.org reports that the coalition total is 3,389 killed.
